A Conflict of Interest: #GamerGate and the Need for Ethics in Video Game Journalism

This common narrative of GamerGate as presented by the media is one of harassment and misogyny, not of journalistic ethics. It should strike us as ironic, however, that an ongoing misrepresentation of the movement in the media only proves the point that video game journalists are in dire need of an education in ethics.
